Arthur Jones

Hey Guys,

I was flipping through a mid-year 03′ Ironman Magazine and came across something. A guy named Brian Johnston compiled everything written by Arthur Jones and put it in a large hardbound book. It has Nautilus Bulletin #1, & 2 and all the articles Jones wrote for Ironman back in the 60′s and 70′s and includes Jone′s autobiography. It has 1,500 pages (yeah a lot) and has a hefty price to go with it, $125 + S & H. Has anyone bought this, or has any of the Nautilus Bulletin books? If so, could you write back to me stating wether or not you liked it and what it is about. Anything would be MUCH APPRECIATED because I′m thinking of buying the $125 book. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Hey Garrett, the Nautilus Bulletins can be found here:

They are a good read and give a good insight into the background of Jones′ theories.

Catch ya later

Hey Stevo and Dan_ur_man,

Thanks a lot for the sites concerning Arthur Jones′ Bulletins! I wasn′t sure if I was going to spend $125 on all of Jones′ material, but thanks for telling me about the sites so now I know what I′m getting into. Thanks Again and Take Care!

I have bought that from IART on December, 15 ,2003…that item is only limited on 500 copies, so buy that before that item is out of stock…I`m the buyer number 82 from 500…

That AJ Classic Collection consist of two huge volumes…

The items on that Arthur Jones Classic Collection are AWESOME…like Mike says…Jones philosophical and scientific theory on HIT is unsurpassed…

Nautilus Bulletin 1-2 contains some flaws because HIT theory on early 1970-1972 is unriped…Arthur Jones clarify that flaws on his "My First Century on the Iron Game" [ex; speed of movement, workout frequency, etc]…

WARNING: Don`t get surprised to see word such as "fuck, asshole, fool, idiot, etc" on his writings [especially on "My First Century on the Iron Game"]… 🙂
