Hey Fellas,

I see that things have changed some since I went on holiday about a month ago. Unfortunately, the new admin here has decided to allow only Party approved information to be discussed, as this has apparently increased traffic and brought in more money. As such, since I was more interested in making conventional strength training information accessible on this board, such as stuff about 2FT, Periodization, GPP, Specificity, the GAS and the Stress Model, Russian Methods, etc., and in discussing the obvious flaws in HIT and Heavy Duty Theory, I′ve been banned. Business is business I guess.

There are a few people here I would still like to remain in contact with. If anyone still wishes to be in contact with me, you can reach me at bb.com under my username "Jeffo". I may start a new log there in the future, but if you wish, you can always shoot me a PM. I′d love to hear from you.

I want to end by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed my nearly 3 years here. I was lucky to have tonnes of great duscussions with interesting people from all over the world. There are a lot of good guys here and I wish you all the best in the future.

PS: Since the new Admin decided to suspend my account while I was on holiday, therefore denying me the chance of defending myself and of getting information from people before leaving, I ask that this post be allowed to remain for a while so those interested can at least get my contact info before it is inevitably deleted. Thanks.

Here is a copy of the email I sent Jeff replying to his query on why his account was suppended.

Jeff Ernst

During your holiday our site was evaluated as to why it′s internet stats have been steadily

Down trending for the past 2 years. It was found that you and B&G; had claimed to do HD when in fact you and he did not. Then you both went on a slanderous crusade against Mike Mentzer, HIT, HD, Jones and Darden. Both of you have had your accounts permanently suspended.

Below are two new Forum Policies that have been adopted.

All posts and threads are to be relative to the written and recorded works of Mike Mentzer. This board is meant to be an Exclusive place to communicate with a Small Elite Group of Hard Core HD Members who are applying Mike Mentzer′s High Intensity Training. This board is NOT here to discuss training ideas, per se, but is here to discuss how to use High Intensity Training to help it′s members reach their personal body building goals.

1) We will not discuss whether HD is "The One Valid theory of Bodybuilding Exercise". If you are here we figure that is your viewpoint.

2) We will not discuss how other routines compare to Heavy Duty because Heavy Duty is NOT just a routine.

3) We will not allow anyone to start a NON-Heavy Duty Journal on this board of course variations of Mike′s routines are acceptable.

4) We will not promote other routines.

5) When someone new shows up saying he got "No Results" we MUST find out exactly what HE DID WRONG and get him to fix it.

6) When someone gets upset because of "no results" and helps us to find the correct solution and when it is found then changes whatever he was doing wrong he MUST be treated with the utmost respect and cooperation because he is one of us.

7) All trolls/trouble makers/pissing contest makers/ will be BANNED from this forum and if they return under A different user name his i/p address will be rejected from our server and if that does not stop him from coming onto our server we will get his internet service provider to disconnect his service.

8) We must help the new forum member who are asking about Heavy Duty by first finding out what he has read, what he has done or is doing with Heavy Duty and pointing him in the right direction.

9) We are NOT here to sell anyone on doing Heavy Duty. I do not know of anyone who started doing Heavy Duty without first reading a book about it.

10) We are NOT here to PROVE that Heavy Duty works. The only way to know if it works is to read a book and do it only then after he has the gains will he know for sure. Some may want to prove that it works and that is ok. My point is we should not feel that we have to and get into long explanations having to do with proof. If you present someone as proof you will find that is never good enough they will always find something wrong and want more PROOF or different proof.

11) Never repeat on this board an "enemy line" for example: You read "Joe Muscle Head said HIT never works for anyone!" So if you post that or the url that has that enemy line you end up spreading this lie to everyone on the board

We were confronted with the decision of either change or shut down.

The site is now aggressively moderated. Since we started changing (about two weeks ago) the site our stats have sored up with more visitors, longer stays, more internet velocity and our members are having a lot more fun applying HIT HD.

Jeff it is time that you found a board that fits your viewpoint this one does NOT.

Finally this site makes NO MONEY and the owner must take money out of his own pocket every month to keep it on line.

"and in discussing the obvious flaws in HIT and Heavy Duty Theory"

Well, that really speaks for itself.

Nothing like using someone elses board and funds to drive your own agendas….

In Jeff′s defense, I feel like he thought he was giving out the best possible advice. Of course we may all disagree with him and his methods, but he had no malicious motive. I don′t think it′s fair to say he had some sort of sketchy agenda when he wasn′t making any money if anyone switched to a periodized program.

Life is made up of choices.

And Rationality is a matter of choice.

If Jeff thinks it is rational to leave the Board for whatever reason, it is his right.

If in the future he chooses to abide by the Board′s Rules (Forum Admin′s rights), then welcome back.

May logic, not illogic, prevail in situations such as this.
