1. Are you willing to analyze rationally and critically the concepts behind HIT/HD?

2. Are you willing to apply the same process to volume training (assuming you are a volumer)?

3. Are you able to arrive at a rationally supported conclusion about which method is best?

If an individual is unable to follow through with the above, then the individual will not be receptive to the efficacy of the principles upon which HIT/HD has been developed.

If the individual is able to adhere to no 1, 2, and 3, then I would be willing to participate in a rational discussion with the person about why HIT/HD is the best way to train.

Kendo,

The question needs to be asked. The best way to train for what? Marathons, no. Swimming the English Channel, no. Strength, yes.

Cheers

I would ask the person to read Mike′s books. If that doesnt convince him nothing will.

Great response searcher! But that might be too logical for him to conceptualize. Most volumers are hard-headed. Nevertheless, it′s an excellent reply towards to question!
